SHARING MY STORY

My debut picture book, ‘The Washing Up Fairy’ was released at the end of September and so far I have been excitedly sharing it with family, friends and colleagues. I feel so very lucky to know so many wonderful people, who were willing to support me with early sales and pre-orders. My very first pre-order was from my best friend of twenty eight years. We have known each other since secondary school and I was so pleased that she was the first one to buy it.

So far this month, I have had the privilege of reading my first book, to a reception class in a local primary school. Many of the children enjoyed it and some have even been taking a copy home, to share with their families. One copy of my book was given away as a prize in the Autumn Eco Warrior competition. Children had to bring in as many recyclable items as they could to win.

Next stop on the book tour is Harborne Library. I will be joining them as part of their half term Halloween event, at the end of October.
